Pixelated Tail Lights

At the Auto Show Marelli is showcasing its concept Pixelated Tail Lights, which innovatively integrates OLED-TFT high-resolution display technology into the tail lights to meet the trend of dynamic interaction and personalized displays in automotive lighting. This innovative technology enables the taillights to communicate vehicle status, driving intentions and other information to other road users in the form of moving images, thus significantly enhancing driving safety. At the same time, the technology gives automotive designers a great deal more freedom of design, making personalized expression possible.

In addition, pixelated taillights enable seamless integration of Vehicle-to-Guideway Collaboration (V2X). Compared to traditional miniLED and MicroLED display solutions, pixelized taillights ensure a detailed and smooth dynamic image display while achieving a significant cost reduction.
